Who We Are?

HACDESA ORGANIZATION PROFILE

After the collapse of Somalia Government more than two decades ago, civil war became the order of the day in Somalia. Displacement and suffering of human and especially women and children has continued to be felt throughout the country. Natural disasters have also been a major struggle for Somalia to recover. Access to basic human needs has become a challenge to many and especially those in hard to reach areas.

It is through the struggles that were felt in Somalia and a group of Somalis Youth united to form an organization by the name Hadful Cooperative Construction and Development for Social Affairs (HACDESA) in August of 2007. The organization was formed to enable communities of Somalia and especially women and girls access to the basic needs that is Health, Nutrition, shelter Education and also access to livelihood opportunities to prevent them from suffering.

Our Mission

Enhance the living standard of Somali societies into self-Reliance and prosperity through provision of relief, rehabilitation, development programs by strengthening the local capacities to address their issues of needs in a transparency and participatory approach.

Our Vision

Our vision is an informed and developed community that has the necessary resilience to withstand periodic shocks due to drought, conflict, social excesses and other humanitarian emergencies.
